High Fever, Sore Throat And Muscle Aches After Unprotected Sex. Strep Test, Elisa Test Negative
Two days after an unprotected sex occurance, I came down with high fever, sore throat, and terrible muscle aches. Tests for strep were negative. 8 days after sex my doctor ran a hiv rna test and also the elisa test to rule this out as ars. Can I assume I am negative since both tests came back unreactive?

Thanks for the query.
I had seen your case and found that it might be only viral fever which happened unfortunately just after sex.
So do not worry too much.
Go for general blood test and take Tablet Crocin 500mg BD, Tab Cetrezine 10 mg at night and do warm water gargle for 5 days.
If not feel better then go for repeat blood , Strep and Elisa test .
