Hi!my 21 year old son has dengue.he has high fever temp of 39 for 3days and it went down to 38.3 for 2 days.then his fever is gone for 2days now but he seems weak.no appetite and his stomach aches like having acid reflux. The doctor gave us permission to care for him at home.his platelet count went down to 142 to 136 then it went up to 150. Is there anything i can do now without confining him to hospital?can you please give me advise on foods to eat or what to drink or medicines he could take to boost his immune system and to increase platelet count?we are financially handicapped right now we cannot afford hospitalization.your advise will be very much appreciated.thank you in advance!
