Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query,
It seems to be soft tissue injury. Soft tissue injury over hip and pelvic area take more time to heal .
However it is best to rule out any bone injury after an X-ray.
I would suggest getting this evaluated by an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. You may get the X-ray/MRI of the area affected under his/her guidance.
Avoid weight bearing on the foot till then and get some mild pain killers prescribed.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful
