Hip Pain, Stiffness, Pain In Hands And Finger Joints, Difficulty In Walking. Cure For Symptoms?
Hip pain, stiffness, pain in hands finger joints, swelling and pain on ball of feet pain at base of toes, pain standing too long and sitting stiffness. I sway to ease the pain of lower back pain. Feet are worse in the morning, I cannot walk ten paces without feeling pain. Pain is there 24/7 and flares from a 7 to a 10 plus
Hi and thanks for the query, the pains you describe are most probably of rhuemtologic origin. A good clinical examination by a rheumatologist shall be an invaluable tool in making an appropriate diagnosis. An erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C reactive protein level, which are markers of inflammation shall give us a measure of the degree of inflammation. Rheumatoid factor for rheumatoid arthritis could be measured, Antinuclear Antibodies for Lupus and other systemic disease, Anti DS, Anti Sm shall be done based on the appraisal of the doctor. A rays, complete blood cunts complementing these exams and a physical examination should be enough in giving a clear orientation with respect to the origin of such pains. I suggest you consult a rheumatologist. Best regards, Luchuo, MD.
