History Of PSVT, AFIB, Feeling Tingling Sensation In Arm, Hand, Taking Metoprolol. What Should I Do?
I woke up last night to my left arm tingling and my heart racing. I could tell it was around 180BPM. I have a history of PSVT and AFIB two years ago. I am 30 years old and have been off of caffein and alcohol for several years. There is history of Tachycardia on my mother's side of the family. Today while laying down I noticed a tingling in my left hand and did not know if that was related as well. I had two EKGs last night and was released by the ED saying I was fine. I take Metoprolol and baby aspirin.
The tingling could be from anxiety and hyperventilation...
Increasing the dose of Metoprolol may help to avert further attacks of PSVT
EPS and ablation can cure many...
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
