Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
Your current presentation, again, matched all symptoms of a
urinary tract infection (UTI). As a UTI can present in different ways in different individuals, and also with different symptoms each time it occurs in the same individual, you might think of these symptoms to have another cause. Well, most sexually transmitted diseases also have many symptoms similar to that of a UTI.
Let me list some of the most common symptoms of a UTI for your reference:
-Increased urge to urinate, but less amount of urine passed
-Chills
-Fever
-Lower abdominal and/or flank region pain
-Burning sensation while urinating
-Frequent urination
-Itching around the genitals
-Blood in urine or immediately after (not always seen)
I would thus advise you to visit your doctor and get your urine analysed once again, to look for signs of an infection.
My main concern, is to find the cause for the recurrent UTIs, as this is not normal. Almost always, recurrent or persistent UTIs have some underlying cause. And if you have been diagnosed with
HPV, this could very well be the cause (although rare), I would advice you to seek treatment for the same. Keeping your HPV under control will be vital.
If possible, an elaborate examination to look for other possible causes of your recurrent UTIs, should be conducted. Please do not ignore this, or believe that this is just how your body is (i.e. vulnerable to UTIs), there will be a cause to your recurrent UTIs, and finding and treating it will surely provide you much relief.
Please continue with drinking plenty of water and the cranberry juice. Also, adding a urine alkalizer to this, will help greatly. Please discuss this with your doctor (provided you have acidic urine i.e.)
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
