History Of Bypass Operation For Coronary Heart Disease. Done Angiogram. Meaning Of Results?
Hello from the UK. I have coronary heart desease and had a tripple bypass operation when I was just 36 yrs old. I am now 62 and have since had 3 stents & an angioplasty proceedure. Yesterday ( Tuesday 12th March ) I had a further angiogram investigation through the left radial as I have been having slight chect pains once meore. The findings were as follows: LAD blocked ostially, RCA blocked proximally, filling retrogrately from L system. distal LAD lesion appears severe but not attractive to angioplasty. SVG to RCA blocked ostially, could you tell me what all this means please ?
This means more than one vessel is blocked (2 native vessels and the venous graft) / more than one block in a vessel (LAD).
This means you need bypass surgery again - as soon as possible
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
