History Of Cystocele Regarding Bladder Prolapsing. Considering Hysterectomy Using Mesh. Safe?

I am considering having a hysterectomy in the very near future. My doctor who will be doing the surgery will be using some kind of mesh. I have what is called a cystecylle regarding my bladder prolapsing. I'm very nervous about using any kind of mesh, since there have been a lot of law suits about this. I wonder how safe they are to use right now.

Hello,

Mesh is an external object which helps in prevent prolapse and strengthens the area in which the surgery is performed.
Nowadays these materials are made of very advanced materials and has minimum reaction post surgically.
You already have cystocele which means your bladder is in out of place.
This may cause urinary incontinence later.
Mesh will prevent all of this.
