History Of Heart Disease. Pacemaker And Ventricullar Fibrillator Installed. Left Heart Chamber Getting Weaker. Any Suggestions?

My mom has a long history of heart disease . Had bypass about 17 years ago. Blockage of artries is close to 100% . She had pace make installed about 2 years ago. Stent option is already ruled out by Drs depending on her situtation . Last week she has Ventricular Fibrillator. Her left lower chamber of heart stopped for 4 mts , She went unconscious and vonitted out. Called 911 and in hopistal. Had similar attack in 12 hrs again . What you recommend the options ? Her left chamber of the heart organ is getting weak day by day . its start palpitating but does not supply enough blood. Any suggestions ??

Thanks for your concerns. It appears that she is suffering from advanced heart failure from obstructed coronary arteries. The options now that vascularization is not feasible, medication adjustments, upgrading to a left ventricular assist device (mechanical device to help the heart pump), heart transplant, or concentrate on controlling symptoms and offer advanced palliative care. She will clearly benefit from seeing an advanced heart failure specialist
