Suggest Treatment To Lose Weight With Cardiomyopathy

My son is 36 years old. He has dilated cardiomyopathy with a heart efficiency rate of 15 to 20%. He has sleep apnea and sleeps with a CPAP mask. He has had a pacemaker/defibrillator implanted. He is 6'5" and weighs about 360. He knows he needs to lose weight, but even with a healthy diet of fish, veggies and no salt, he is still heavy. He rides a recumbent bicycle about 3 miles a day. He is on diuretics and coreg. What would you suggest as the best course of treatment from here? I am not sure he would survive a heart transplant.

Hello,

Do make changes in his diet, make a meal replacement therapy with Medislum supplement for dinner once he is comfortable you can replace even for breakfast hope this will help him to reduce weight.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ssulthana82
