History Of Miscarriage. Discomfort And Pain After Sex. Cause?
Hi Doctor I had a miscarriage a month ago, just finished my first period. However, having sex causes discomfort and slight pain in my belly button/navel region which goes away after withdrawal . It was a natural miscarriage with embryo passing out and during period a small hard cylindrical/kidney bean shaped tissue (umbilical cord) passing as well. What might be the cause?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. After a miscarriage, the mild uterine contractions can be felt for upto two weeks. The mild pain during the sex is also a part of those contractions. It is likely to subside spontaneously. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal , drrakhitayal@gmail.com
