History Of Ovarian Cysts, Colitis, Diverticulitis. Flank Pain, Watery Stools, Pain Near Ribs And Hips
mid 50 s female, past history; ovarian cysts about 30 yrs ago, colitist off and on last 35 yrs, diverticulist, 14 of sigmoid colon removed 7 yrs ago. left moderate flank pain, radiating heat, throbs at times, between ribs and hips closer to hips, front and back, oily water stools , can be grey, orangish, brown to black with flem and/or little substance. will feel like there is still more but can not go, nauseous at times, .

Hi...looks like you are having another episode of diverticulitis... better show to your doctor again and undergo a colonoscopy....
It will be good if you start some antibiotics like rifaximin and metonidazole in the mean time...
