Hit Head, Swollen Upper Lip, Scratched And Green Upper Nose, Huge Bump On Forehead. Should I Be Worried?

Hi, I fell and hit my head and face on the toilet yesterday, I ended up with a swollen upper lip , scratched and green upper nose and a huge bump on the middle of my forehead . Apart from mild pain when in contact with these three areas, I am not experiencing any other symptoms. Yet, is there something else I should be looking for, and be worrying about? Hi Iphigenia and sorry to hear about what you are experiencing.

All the symptoms and signs you have mentioned are typical of an inflammatory reaction, in this case resulting from a fall. For now, you should not be too worried.
However, be on the watch for things like fever, increasing pain, purulent secretions from the affected areas, or increase in the amount of skin involved . I will also suggest that you get some anti inflammtory and pain killers to get this inflammatory reaction under control.

please, always watch your steps as you move. It sounds like you did not sustain serious damage now, but remember some falls can be fatal and reason why we need to always watch our steps and take the maximum precautions possible.
