Hives On Body, Swollen Face And Neck Due To Allergic Reaction For Minocycline. Advised Taking Predisone. Healing Time?

Hi, I began taking minocycline 100mg twice daily for two week when I began having allergic reactions to it two days ago. I began breaking out in hives all over my body except my face. Since then, I stopped taking my minocycline and visited my doctor for a solution and he gave me a shot which temporarily worked and prescribed me some prednesone. While most of my hives are gone from my body, My face and neck area is swollen with hives. What should I do? Do I just wait it out? When will my allergic reaction go away? Thanks.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Now hives is only at face & around neck.
In my opinion take fexofenadine 180 mg for 7-10 days twice in days .
Also use local caladryl type lotion .
Take 1-2 tablets of ivermectine + albendazole .
Good luck.
