Home Pregnancy Test Positive But Blood Test Negative. What Is Wrong?
Hallo, the home pregnancy test was positive but the blood test was negative. During the blood test I had high temperature and for 5 days before that I was drinking a cough syrup. Could the blood test be effected in any way?

Urine for pregnancy done at home have high false positive & negative values.always use good company card to test for pregnancy ,ideally be done by qualified 7 experienced lab technician.In my practice I am seeing lots of false positive urine for pregnancy test report & patient taking unnecessary treatment.I don`t think cough syrup effect the result.
