Horrible Side Effects After Taking Invega Sustenna. How Long Will It Take For The 30 Day Shot To Go Out Of The System?
Yes my son had a brief physcotic disorder break down and they gave him invega sustenna, he has had horrible side effects, he is better now, no dellusions, he says he was better before they gave him the shoy but because he acted out thinking he was going to get out of mental home, they gave 30 day shot, how long is it going to take to get out of his system and will detox push it out faster?

The half life of a drug is the time it takes for the amount of drug in the system to decrease by half.
The half life of this drug when given as an injection is 25 to 49 days.
Normally it takes 3 to 4 half lives for a drug to be eliminated completely though the side effects may stop before this time.
This means that the drug would be completely eliminated by 75 to 196 days.
As mentioned before, any side effects would start to reduce before this time.
