How A Pilar Cyst On The Scalp Be Treated?
I have a 5 cm pilar cyst on my scalp. I am not sure if I should seek a GP, dermatologist or a cosmetic surgeon for removal procedure. I also need to know the cost as I don t have health insurance and don t want to come in if I can t afford it.. Thanks

Pilar cysts removal is often for cosmetic reasons or due to general discomfort caused by it.However surgical removal is the most effective.Although you may be able to self-diagnose your doctor might need to perform a biopsy.A ST scan is sometimes used .About the cost I don't know to tell,it depends where you live and life standards there.
