Macadamia nuts should always be consumed in moderation as they contain very high calories, overeating may result in accidently taking more calorie's than is actually needed by the body. It also contains very high quantity of fat. Roasted macadamia nuts may contain additives along with high sodium, sugar or oil content. Due to exposure to high temperature they may lose their natural nutritional content.
They are a rich source of heart healthy monounsaturated fats, protein, fibers, flavonoids,
