How Are The Vaccinations To Be Given?

Hi, I am a currently in school studying to me an MA. I m writing a report on vaccines and need a little help when it comes to arguments parents or doctors may have in giving kids these vaccines: polio, rotavirus, meningcoccal, and Hib type b. Would you give me your perspective on this issue? Thanks, Kathy

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Regarding polio it is eradicated from India since March 2014.
Presently we are giving Both OPV and IPV combindly or alone.
Seperate guidelines will come next year.
Rotavirus depending on the vaccine given 2-3 doses before 4-6 months.
Meningococcal is an options vaccine given during epidemics or travel abroad.
HiB vaccine is compulsory during 6.10 and 14 weeks with a booster after 18 months,
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
