How Can a Blue Spot Around The Eye be Treated?

I have a small blue spot in the lower corner of my eye near my nose. It was real blue last week and appears to be fading. I have what I believe is allergies. I have a minor head ache...not anything major...but since I take blood pressure medicine, I cannot take decongestions. I take allegra anthisthamine. My nose seems to be a little swollen on each side...un noticeable by anyone but me.

Hello,

The fading blue spot is inflammatory mediated show up with the presence of upper respiratory infection.

Cold water splashing and ice packs over the affected eye will help to recover much faster along with current antibiotics as must be prescribed by your doc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
