How Can high Blood Pressure Along With Headache Be Treated?

My blood pressure keeps rising, there is no related stress. Currently it is 157/105 and I ve had headache twice today, still present. I already take 30mg of lancandicipine and 20mg lisinopril in a morning and the doctor gave me another 10mg to take at tea time. What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
I would suggest continue taking the medicine for now, consult with your doctor if increase in dose or adding another drug like a diuretic is needed.
I would also recommend some tests like-
-Ultrasound of abdomen and Renal doppler to rule out any kidney related cause for you hypertension like renal artery stenosis
-24hr urinary VMA or Blood catecholamines to rule out a condition called Pheochromocytoma
-MRI brain to look for any central pathology.

Hope this information answers your question. Vote as helpful if you are satisfied. Thank you.
