How Can pain And Stomach Bloating During Menstruation Be Treated?
I have heavy long periods with blood clots every time I go to the bathroom the clots are the size of a small egg. I have severe pain on myfirst day of my period and my period is 18 days apart and I,m bloated. I have had a ultrasoud that showed no fibriods.
Hi, I think you should go for evaluation first. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done. It can be due to some thyroid or prolactin disorder. Also get a pelvic examination done to rule out any vaginal infection. It can be because of endometriosis also. It can not always be diagnosed on ultrasound. So, you can try some hormonal treatment empirically. You can take tranexamic acid with mefenamic acid to relieve the pain and lessen the bleeding. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
