How Can severe Amyotrophic Laterals Sclerosis Be Treated?

I have a friend with ALS , I don t much about her symptoms, nor the type . She has been in treatment, rehab . In and out of hospital. Presently she seems to be In denial of a lot. That goes without saying. My question is the longevity of living with the disease?

Hello,

I would explain that this is a disease with a bad prognosis. This means that most of the patients get intubated (assisted ventilation) after 5 years since the beginning of the disease.
