How Can severe Chest Pain Be Treated?

Hi, My Daughter Age 42 and active and healthy went to the hospital last night with severe pain in her left chest They did blood work, cardiogram, Scans MRI etc and ruled out no heart problems or embolism but did see a cloudy spot on the bottom of her left lung. They gave her a Z pack for infection and told her to take Motrin and Tylenol every 4 hours for pain and schedule an appointment with her primary Dr. She has not been ill prior to this What could it be? What specialist should she see?

Hello dear.
It could be a chest infection or costochodritis(inflamation of joints of ribs).
The medicines prescribed are ok.
She should consult a medical specialist for a detailed physical examination.
Hope it will help.
Wishing your daughter good health :-)
