How Can severe Migraine Along With Eye Pain Be Treated?

Hi, I feel pain in left eye and left part of my head. Some muscle tension in neck and shoulders. I am also experiencing lot of vision changes. Like wavy lines in front of my eyes. Vision got poor can t able to see objects at distance as earlier.. my neurologist said I have migraines.. migraine medication is not helping me.. is there any thing related to eye... is the vision changes are related to migraines, if so why migraine medication is not helping me... please give your opinion..

Hi,

It looks you are having refraction error. You need to visit an opthomologist to get you eye power checked. Because this is also one of the important cause for a migraine too.

The second thing you have to single out the cause for a migraine because it takes three to six months of treatment in case you are taking prophylaxis. At the time of severe episodes, you can take Endone but only after consulting your doctor.

Take rest, avoid dairy processed products, too much of sleep and spicy junk foods.
