How Can severe Pain In The Upper Back And Shoulder Be Treated?
I have been having severe back pain upper back, by shoulder blades, over the past three months it has happened 2-3 times, where I have to lay in bed because of pain and it usually lasts for several days! I have tried heat, ice and a muscle anti inflammatory, do you have any ideas what this is? What kind of doctor do you recommend, chiropractor, orthopedic, or family physician?

Upper backache and shoulder pain are usually due to the wrong posture while working or travel. I recommend you to go to orthopedic surgeon.you should check your weight, needs vitamin D and calcium supplements to strengthen bones.
