General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Hypopigmented patches on the skin are generally caused due to fungal infections like tinea versicolor or could be other skin conditions such as progressive macular hypomelanosis, pityriasis alba and so on.

Kindly consult Dermatologist for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
