How Can swelling And Bruises On The Upper Leg Be Treated?

I suddenly have bruising and swelling on my upper legs (between knees and hips) Started out as red welts which turned to bruising and tightness. Was treated with antibiotics and topical creams and steroids. Thought it was slowly going away until I developed redness again (size of a large orange) just above the knees. Help me... I am very frustrated. It s seems like it s starting all over again. It s been 2 weeks
