How Can ADHD Be Treated?

I am an adult living with ADHD. I have been off meds for a couple years but there are more demands from work and school and I cannot focus. I don't have health insurance nor can I afford it and Medicaid put me on a year long waitlist. I don't know what to do I feel hopeless

I can see that you are feeling frustrated, and ADHD untreated can have an impact on functioning in different areas of your life. Ideally treatment would be neccessary to treat the ADHD symptoms, in the form of methylphenidate or atomoxetine.
If you dont have access to these, therapy that focusses on specific areas of your function or symptoms may be an altwrnative at this moment. Does your school have a therapist or counselor? Might be a good place to start if you can not afford medication
