How Can ADHD In A Child Be Treated?

My 10 year old Grandson has ADHD very bad. He has been put on several different medications. So far each medication that he has taken makes him so scared. He feels like there are things in his bedroom that will beat him up or suffocate him. He is so scared that he can't stay in the living room to watch t.v. while his 8 year old little sister even leaves the room to go to the kitchen to get the a snack. At this point my daughter took him off of the medication. She tried several different medicines and they all have the same effects. Are there any foods that may help him or anything else/

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and understand your concern. Most of the drug s which work in ADHD are not working for your grandson infact they are making him worse. This means he has any additional neurological condition or maybe he doesn't have ADHD but some other psychological disorder. The symptoms you are describing point towards a diagnosis of delusional disorder. Regarding the kind of food he should eat , there haven't been any conclusive studies to establish any relation between food and ADHD. I would advise you to consult his physician and get an MRI and EEG done to rule out other conditions. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
