How Can Asperger Syndrome Be Treated?
I adopted a boy at 3 monthes out of the hospital,shaken baby ,failure to thrive,head injury,he has a shunt and goes to pt, ot, and therapy for behavior and now is on meds, Aspergrs has been brought up but not for sure.The info I just read I fine a few similarities, Will he have to be on meds forever,because I really had a hard tim putting him on them, He is 4 and a half

Dear Asperger's syndrome is technically no longer a diagnosis on its own. It is now part of a broader category called autism spectrum disorder.
Unless diagnosis is confirmed better to no use for medication.
Please consult your neuro physician/neuropsychiatrist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
