How Can Asperger Syndrome Be Treated?

I recently found out a male friend of mine has Asperger s. I read up on children but what info can you give me for an adult soon turning 30. He fits the description right on! Everything seems to make sense now. He is a very generous and kind person who turns most people off! He says, others find him scary. I would like to help him in any way if I can. Please let me know how I may help him. Thank You!

Hi,

If he can lead a social life no treatment is required. If he has got difficulty in social interactions or in case of symptoms like repetitive movements, you can take him to a neurologist and get evaluated.
