General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This two condition is different. COPD is chronic obstructive pulmonary disease which is irreversible. On the other hand, bronchial asthma is reversible.

Both can be treated with bronchodilator but in asthma, steroids can be used to decrease inflammation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhadresh Lakhani
