Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Clostridium difficile is caused by treatment with either clindamycin or broad spectrum cephalosporins.

Treatment option inlcudes:

1. Flagyl(metronizadole)
2. Vancomycin

I suggest you to start on vancomycin by consulting with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Adnan Iqbal
