General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Deep vein thrombosis can lead pulmonary embolism lung condition. So, if needed rule out by D dimer investigation.

If pulmonary embolism not present, then local respiratory causes like pleursy, or bronchitis should be ruled out by chest x-ray. Consult a Pulmonologist for examination and further management plan decided.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
