I tested positive for a mild form of HSV...but it was the clinic first time doing the test and they couldn’t give me any details about which strand it is and I have learn that the test comes out false positive a lot if you are having no systems...should I be worry?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. You can do herpes simplex immunoglobulin again. You can also do dna pcr and viral culture to confirm it. Antiviral drugs like valacyclovir is used for treating this.
Thanks.
