How Can I Get Relief From Burning Red Rashes In And Around Eyes After Delivery. ?
Hi, I had a healthy baby boy 5 weeks and 4 days ago. Since then I ve been getting a red rash that started in the in/outside corners of my eyes and has now spread to all over my eyelids and under my eyes. There is no pus or whiteheads. It burns and gets worse when I m really tired (which is all the time with a new baby). Is this common? And is there anything I can put on it to sooth it without making it worse?
I am suspecting a viral infection called Molluscum contagiosum which looks like a small rash without discharge with a small pit in its centre. It usually painless and spreads by skin to skin contact after scratching/ touching it? But get it confirmed with your physician before any home remedies and DONOT scratch it as it will spread.
Take care.
