How Can I Treat Loss Of Erection Due To Taking Rozavel?
Sir,
I am a 30 year old married guy with two daughters. I'm 6', weighing 86 kg. 50 days back, my doctor had indulged me to a blood test and he found 'higher level of cholesterol in my blood' (triclycedes). That time, I was around 92 kg. He prescribed ' ROZAVEL 10 ' tablet at every morning for 90 days. I have taken 48 tablets. My body weight is turned to 86 from 92. A good result indeed!
To add fuel to my tragedy, for the past 10 days, I hadn't got an erection. Whenever I tried to intercourse with my wife, I was failed. I came to know through one of the websites that continuous use of ROZAVEL 10 tablet would lead to impotence and it would decrease the libido. I am frustrated and can't concentrate on my work. Please clarify my doubts and guide me to return back to my happiest wild nights.
1. Can I get back my manliness (erection) again?
2. Do I need to undergo any treatment for my loss of erection?
3. Is there any medicine available to get back my erection?
4. What would happen, if I'll stop taking ROZAVEL 10?
5. Is it enough to stop taking the medicine, to get back my erection again?
I request you to advise me to put off the problem. I'm crying inside and can't concentrate on anything outside. If the state continues, may be I would commit suicide. Please sir, I beg you to clarify queries and bring peace to my life.

It appears that the drug has hit you with side effects. Please discuss it with your doctor

Answer : I hope you will do well after the drug is stopped and you develop confidence
2. Do I need to undergo any treatment for my loss of erection?
Answer: Not immediately. To patient under my care my advice would be that after discontinuation of drug if erection does not improve and confidence and performance are not back please get in touch with a psychiatrist or sex specialist for evaluation and treatment
3. Is there any medicine available to get back my erection?
Answer; Hardly any medicine will be required
4. What would happen, if I'll stop taking ROZAVEL 10?
Answer: Please discuss with your doctor.
5. Is it enough to stop taking the medicine, to get back my erection again?
Answer: At present it should be done only with consultation of treating doctor for the disease you are being treated
I would have told my patient that No need to cry inside or feel sad or anxious because all these will compound the problem even after you stop the drug. I would have told my patient that the erection takes place when one is relaxed; confidant ; not in doubt and anxious about erection or performance and mentally is prepared to enjoy
Get in touch with Psychiatrist if stoppage of drugs does not help and your confidence remains low
Get back to your normal sex soon
