How Can I Treat My Constipation ?
78yrs, 154cms, 70 kg. Undergone Prostrate Surgery in Sept 2009. For knee problem, taken 3 Haylgan injections from March 2011 to May 2011... Present Problem is that I have to use digital inteference(Insert finger ) to take out stools. What is this problem? Its Treatment, Which type of Doctor/ Private good clinic in East Delhi can treat it. & what will the cure cost me? Please advise. My e mail id: vedprakash1935@gmail.com.

it seems that you have got absolute constipation and due to age peristalsis movemen become sluggish and due to laxity of muscles constipation is common problem.
if hard fecolyths are there go for enema.
take laxative daily at night.
Do not try by finger.
Take plenty of water, green veges and salads.

you are suffering from constipation, you need to take more amount of fiber foods, bulk forming foods which will make the stools soft... take banana, all kinds of vegetables, avoid excess of protein food like meat i.e chicken, mutton, fish also rice, ragi ball, which increases the effect of constipation.... also take more amount of water and fluids, tab. Dulcolax 2 tab stat.. this is used in case of constipation..
