How Can I Understand The Analysis Of Semen Which Shows Light Yellow,turbid,viscous?
Hi i am 53 years old man did semen analysis 4 hrs ago and results shows: light yellow,turbid,viscous in Macroscopic , ph-8.0,specific gravity-1.005 ,liquefaction-20.0 min. in a total volume 1.80 ml , RBC 5-10, WBC 6-8 ,Epithelial Cells -rare , Sperm count- 5.3 million , Motile 60% ,Non Motile 40% , 5% grade 4 , 15% grade 3 , 30% grade 2 , 10% grade 1 , Morphology : normal 90% , abnormal 10% . please guide me in these results. thanks: alex .

Sperm count 5.3 million????? this should be more than or equal to 40 million or sperm concentration should be >20 million/ milliliter !! you need to check with your Physician who can help you wit this. Usually there should be 0-1 RBC's in the semen. You need to get proper checkup from a Urologist/Nephrologist.
