Let me give you a brief(sort of) history.I m 54,male and have had IBS/anixety/depression for 20 years.I took Paxil,20mg twice a day and Librax twice a day for these 20 years.7 years ago I had a bad spell with IBS/anixety and Bentyl was added twice a day.6 months ago I had another bad spell as bad as the original 20years ago(which took 2 years to stabilize) and is still on going.Over those twenty years I would have back pain from the bloating and spasming of the colon for which I took Extra Strength Tylonel until 7 years ago when it became ineffective so I switched to Ibprofin 200mg/3tablets twice a day.During my current bout after a endascopy/colonscopy showed slight errosion in my stomach i was switched to Tramadol twice a day.My aniexty and depression is very bad for these last 6 months so thru a psychatrist I ve been seeing for 2 months she weened me off the Paxil and has added Mirtazapine starting a 15mg 5weeks ago tom 30mg five days ago and Gabapetin starting a 200mg five weeks ago to 400mg five days ago.Isplit both evenly between morning and evening dosages.Sleep good and feel normal when I take my Mirtazapine at night.But during the day still feel anixous and depressed alot.I have a full time job and live alone.Other than at night I feel like my life is totally screwed up.I do see a counslor as well.Does it appear that this combination of medicine is going to get me back on track?Also my psy. is going to eventually take me off the Librax once my colon settles.Thank you and God Bless You,Bob Sehringer
