Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My sister has been diagnosed with METS cancer (stage 4) and thus far had 11 Chemo sessions. Her 12th one is due in 10 days. She is quite week, vomiting everything consumed. Not sure she can take one more Chemo and a recent MRI shows that growth is not fully controlled with Chemo. In a dilemma on what to do and not sure if the 12th one is going to help her anyway and if this is curable. Any advice? She is vomiting yellow fluid with black stuff . thanks

How Can METS Cancer Be Treated?
Hello, Unfortunately, she is having an advanced disease and thus palliative chemo and radiation are the only options left. Consult an oncologist and he will direct you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
