I had some other tests like insulin resistant, thyroid, vitamin D, prolactin. All are normal except Vitamin D. My vitamin D is very low. My thyroid is normal though Its very close to lower limit. Only few points difference.M so afraid of doctors. They give medicine what if we take situation is fine if don t take again problem comes back. OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You have to take treatment for PCOD as it can cause infertility later in life. Every medicine has side effects but treatment is a must.

So I suggest you go for its treatment. Apart from treatment, you have to modify your lifestyle. Avoid taking junk foods, Take plenty of fluids. Exercise for at least 40 minutes daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
