How Can PCOS And Endometrial Hyperplasia Be Treated?
Hi doctor. Last March 13th I got my periods and after that I didn t get so consulted doctor on may 13th. She gave me meprate to take 2 times a day. It came up for 5 days. Now it s been nearing 10 days still I didn t get my period. I did my scanning also in the meanwhile I m having PCOS and my endometrium is thickened. It s around 16.7mm. I m really worried. This itself making me feel bad. Any suggestions please

I think you can wait for 4 to 5 days for periods to come. If still periods don't come, do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy if you are sexually active. If negative, you may need a combination of estrogen and progesterone for inducing periods. Also, get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done to see if there is any other cause of irregular periods. You may need some hormonal treatment for PCOS. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps. Try losing some weight.
