How Can Synthroid Dosage Levels, High BP And Weight Gain Be Controlled?
Hi, and thanks for your time. This is not a critical issue but a bothersome one. I have been a synthroid patient for over 20 years. I have been treated by my primary care doctor(s) only. My dosage changes on average every time lab work is done at least every 6 months or more. IS THIS TYPICAL? I have gone thru menopause yet my dosage is still changing. HOW CAN I ACHIEVE SOME KIND OF CONSISTENT LEVEL? I still have some symptoms of hypothyroidism and also blood pressure issues which are somewhat under control at this time. My weight is stabilized but I would like to loose.
Hello I just read your query and from what you have asked I would like to say that Yes it is seen in some patients that the thyroid function is fluctuating do we need to keep adjusting the dose . Regarding your blood pressure I suggest that you take a high vegetable diet with low salt. Thirdly regarding your weight, I suggest that you walk for 45-60 minutes daily.
