How Can UTI Along With Fever And Chills Be Treated?

my son was diagnosed with a UTI 2.5 weeks ago. He was on antiobiotics for 10 days...I still know something very wrong. He has Down syndrome so he won t really tell his symptoms. He gets fever and chills ....but then it subsides. He is in extreme pain some times and then fine other times. We went back to dr for the THIRD time and they did xray last night. Will xray tell us if he has kidney stones...(my prediction)

Recurrent UTI,
As you mentioned the symtoms that despite using the antibiotics it revived again.
first thing is to find the cause of recurrent UTI,
uncirumcised male have increase the tendency of UTI,
urine culture should be done to start organism specific thearpy.
Ultrasound KUB to rule out any stone,hydronephrosia or any other underlying pathology.
X ray also help in diagnosing the stone.
Proper workup and empirical antibiotic therapy is helpful.
