Hello,
Brief answer: Good hydration, avoid certain food types are mainstay of prevention.
Explanation: My opinion is that
kidney stones are a matter of concern as they make patients liable to
urinary tract infections. Certain conditions predispose to stone formation. Too much food intake like tomatoes, mangoes, beets, chocolate, spinach, rhubarb, tea, and most nuts predispose to stone formation. Prolonged
dehydration times also lead to more concentrated urine and that would develop stones. Some bacterial infections encourage stones to form.
I suggest my patients the following good hydration, take less amount of above mentioned food and follow-up regularly if any burning or change in color of urine developed.
Conclusion: I suggest you complete your antibiotic courses. Take plenty amount of fluids and follow-up with your physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
