How Can UTI Be Treated?

I have a uti and I was prescribed 500mg ciprofloxacin. It s been 5 days and the symptoms are not fading anymore. Could this bacteria be resistant to cipro? Should I go back to doctor now and see about a different antibiotic? Thanks for any suggestions. I am a male btw.

First u drink alot water also take cipro in bd and syp citrillka in half cup of water in bd and you take upto 5.7. Day
