Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doctor, an hour ago, i got hurt by honey bee then, after 30 minutes, i cleaned it with plain water and taken cetirite pil. There is no sting but i got red patch with a little pain. Is the medication enough or any other precautions need to be taken for this?
The red patch with little pain that you describe would be a normal reaction to a bee sting. There are no signs that you have any severe allergic reactions to bee stings, so the medication you took should be enough. Actually, you probably didn't need to take any medication. I would expect the bee sting to go away in a couple of days; if it were to grow and get worse I would suggest seeing your doctor, but this would not be expected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch,
