How Can A Blighted Ovum Be Treated?
I had blighted ovum last year I am pregnant again I had an abdominal ultrasound and it said I m 5weeks gestational sac with no yolk and it measures 7mm the impression is that early cyesis so I should repeat in 4weeks. I m nervous and worried because of my past history please explain things further. Thanks

Yolk sac usually starts showing in jag by 5 weeks of pregnancy.
In your case maybe it is yet to appear...that's why you are advised to ha e repeat scan.
Please don't be stressed. Blighted ovum need not re ur every time. Be positive & get the scan done...it may come normal this time.
And even if it doesn't. you both would be advised investigations & specific needful treatment from a fertility doctor would help you.
